What I'm working toward
Most new technologies die between a good lab result and a process a fab will run. I've worked that gap from every side, and I want to spend my career closing it.

I develop thin-film processes for semiconductors. I've done it from almost every seat in the industry: toolmaker, supplier, chipmaker, research lab and startup.
I'm a Senior Process Scientist at Kepler Computing, where I develop manufacturable ALD and PVD processes for ferroelectric memory. Before that I developed ALD and CVD processes for barrier films and metals at Lam Research, and held roles at Samsung, Intel, Canon and JSR along the way.
I did my PhD in Materials Science at UT Austin with Deji Akinwande. I used atomically thin graphene and boron nitride to make better hydrogen fuel-cell membranes, and contributed to work on 2D memory devices.
I'm also a technical advisor at Transition, a deep tech venture fund, where I help with sourcing and technical diligence on hardware companies. Before that I ran the microelectronics portfolio at UT's Austin Technology Incubator.
